Delhi Weather Reports: IMD Issues Red alert in Delhi with 2.4 Degree Celsius

Delhi: In Delhi, this year has been recorded lowest minimum temperature in over the last two decades and below 5 degrees Celsius is the normal temperature in most of the places in Delhi.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), 2.8 degrees Celsius temperature has been recorded in Lodhi Road Observatory and 2.4 Degree Celsius in Safdarjung Observatory which is one of the lowest temperatures due to which IMD issues “Extreme Weather Conditions” or Red Alert in Delhi.

Many Railways trains and Flights are delays due to heavy fog and poor visibility, not only in Delhi but in other several places like Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, and many other northern states the red coded warning is given for extreme weather events.
