MV Act 2019, New Fines List And Traffic Rules

As you know that thee is Amedmement in Previous motor vehicle Act 1988 and New act was launched by parliament last month and Now that new ACT which is Motor Vehicle Act 2019 has been taken an effect From 1/Sep/2019 and New fines and Penalties are introduced along with some new traffic Rules which a person has to follow to stay away from traffic violation.

List of New Fines/Penalties under MV Act 2019


This New list of Motor vehicle Act 2019 includes the total 22 section (only Fines) with some New Section and Rules which are part of MV Act 2019 From Section 177 to Section 199 defines the rate/amt of New Fines.

  • Section 206: Defines that "Power of officer to impound documents" he/she can Suspend the Driving license Under Sections 183,184,185,189,190,194C,194D,194E.
  • Section 210B: Defines that "offense committed By Enforcing Authority' penalty will be twice under relevant Section.
