Uttar Pradesh Extend Lockdown till May 17

 

9/May/2021 (Sunday): The Uttar Pradesh Government on Sunday has announced to extend the lockdown till May 17th, Which was supposed to end on Monday morning but now it's extended by a week. 

In a statement made by the UP govt, they said “The Corona curfew imposed in the state is giving positive results and its helping in breaking the chain of COVID Infection, So it has been decided to extend the curfew till 7 am on May 17 ” 

So far, the total number of cases in the state tally to 14,80,315 according to government reports with an increase in the number of cases on Saturday.
