Postgraduate Medical Students to Undergo compulsory 3 months posting at District Hospital Under special Course

20/Sep/2020(Sunday):  MCI Board of Governors on Sunday Notified a new special 3 Months course for postgraduate medical students called "District Residency Programme" Under this course all postgraduate students pursuing their MD or MS are made compulsory to go through three months special posting at districts hospitals or any district health system.

This three months posting will take place in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th semester of students' postgraduate Course. 

District Residency Programme will be essential for students to have before appearing in their final year exams for their respective postgraduate courses. 

Students will be provided a certificate of Satisfactory performance by the District Residency Programme Coordinator.
