Coronavirus Updates: Govt. Shut down all trains & metro services till 31st march

Sunday [22.03.2020]: As a precautionary measure from Corona Virus (COVID-19), Ministry of railway and Indian Government on Sunday have decided to shut down all passenger train services and metro services across all over the country till 31st march so that infection chain of Corona Virus spreading in a country can be a break.

In a Press release, the Ministry of Railways has said that “hassle-free refund to passengers affected by train cancellations will be made till 21.06.2020” and to ensure proper supplies of essential goods, movement of goods trains are going to continue.

Strengthening precautions against COVID-19

Indian Railways has decided that no passenger train will run up to 31st March.
