India VS South Africa: Rohit Sharma has now become first Indian Opener to score Century in Test, ODI and T20
Himachal Pradesh: In the opening day of the first test match against South Africa India's opening batsman, Rohit Sharma scores a century and become India's first and only opening batsman to score a century in Test Series, T20 and ODI matches, after Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum, Martin Guptill, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Ahmed Shehzad, Shane Watson, and Tamim Iqbal, Rohit Become 7th player and batsman in world to score century as an opener.
Rohit Sharma currently is unbeaten and has scored a total of 115* on day 1 against South Africa and which includes five sixes and 12 fours. A batting was chosen by Indian Team Captain Virat Kholi after he won the Toss against South Africa.

According to a media source, Rohit says “I think it suits my game, Just wear the pads and go in to bat. I don't like the Waiting Game” and Rohit also told media “You know the bowlers who are bowling with the new ball, so the game plan is easier for you... At number six, the ball is reversing, filed placement is different and you need to keep all those things in mind”.
