Shyam Saran India’s first voter cast his vote in the seventh phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019
102-year-old man with a passion to cast vote his vote None other than the first person to vote in late 1951-52 when the first election was held in Indian, Shree Shyam Saran Negi cast his vote today at Kalpa district Kinnaur, Mandi for this year Lok Sabha election in last & seven phases of Lok Sabha election 2019.
Shyam Negi is retired school teacher and during his visit o the booth he told media that India’s first election was held first in Feb 1952 and because I was the teacher then I was put in the election duty in Kalpa primary school in Kinnaur and as I reach first there then I cast my vote for the first time and he was so happy with his work and later he knew that he is the first to cast vote.
